Before your first deck
A few things to know.
- Is VocabNova free?
- Yes. Creating an account and using VocabNova are free during the v0.1 preview. No payment details are required. There are no paid plans or subscriptions yet.
- Which languages can I learn?
- You can write words and meanings in any language. You supply both sides of each card; VocabNova does not provide translations, pronunciation, or language courses.
- Can I use my decks on another device?
- Yes. Sign in to the same account on your phone or computer to access your saved decks and review progress. You need an internet connection to load and save your cards.
- How does review scheduling work?
- New cards are due immediately. Again repeats a card at most once in the current session and keeps it due. Hard schedules it 24 hours later; Easy schedules it 72 hours later. Review all cards also updates these due dates.
- Can I import or share a deck?
- Not yet. In v0.1, you add cards one at a time and your decks are private to your account. You can edit or delete your cards and decks whenever you need to.
